General InformationSeatingThe Dr. Charles and Mary Katherine Borchers Performance Hall has a seating capacity of 476. AccessibilityWheelchair Accessibility: Entrances to the Welder Center on Main Street and Goodwin Streets are wheelchair accessible. Handicapped seating is available in the Borchers Performance Hall. Guests can either view performances from the comfort of their wheelchair, or use one of several transfer seats, designed to ease assist the patron in and out of the theatre seat. In total there are 8 locations for wheelchairs in the Borchers Performance Hall. Assisted Listening: Assisted Listening devices are available for performances the Welder Center. The aids can be obtained at the Concession Stand in the Lobby. On performance evenings, drinks Discount TicketsSince events at the Welder Center may be under the sponsorship of many organizations, discount policies depend on individual performance. Check with the Welder Center Box Office at 361-576-6277x5 for information about discounts for any scheduled event. Ticket ExchangesTickets may be exchanged for a fee at management's discretion. All tickets are non-refundable. Lost ticketsLost tickets will be replaced, with proof of purchase, at the Box Office on the evening of the performance only. Cameras and Recording DevicesUnless specifically allowed by an individual event sponsor, the use of cameras and recording devices is prohibited. Any allowed cameras or recording devices may not block aisles or entrances. EmergencyIn case of emergency during a performance, please notify a member of the Welder Center staff. |
