June 4-6: Inspiring music for small ensembles performed by Festival musicians including vibrant pianist Melissa Marse. The music of Beethoven is featured along with great works by Mozart, Saint-Saens, Rachmaninoff, Schumann.
June 7: The Austin sextet MUNDI displays a healthy disregard for where the boundaries of folk, classical, and rock lie.

Dig Our History Days

Downtown Victoria and Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts

“Dig Our History Days” is an inaugural event focusing on the rich history of Victoria and the Coastal Bend! Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience as you participate in a FREE public archeology dig in historic De Leon plaza! Enjoy guided historic driving and walking tours, guided historic courthouse tours, guided Evergreen Cemetery tours, history lectures* and exhibits*, atlatl throwing, horse drawn carriage rides and children's activities! This event will be held from 8 am to 3 pm each day from Friday, June 14-Monday, June 17 in downtown Victoria. Brought to you by the Victoria CVB, Museum of the Coastal Bend and Victoria Preservation, Inc. For more info, call 361-485-3116.

Paint & Sip: Texas Beach Scene

Class will be held in the lobby of the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts

Thursday, June 27; 5:30 - 9:30pm

Artist Dolly Martinez guides students in creating a Texas seascape in oils, starting from a blank canvas. This class is ideal for people who've never picked up a paint brush before!
